Saint Joan of Arc

A true woman for our times. Feminine. Warrior. Truth teller. We are to be nothing less. Some take their own spin on our dear Saint to promote their own agenda, unfortunately. Can you imagine if she were alive today? We all need this fierce Spirit as she owned. Come, Holy Spirit, Come.

Today's Gospel

Why were the people in the crowds, including the 12, hushing the blind man? The 12 also tried to prevent the children. Why are people uncomfortable with those who seek Jesus, who call out to Him with their lives, by their choices? It wreaks havoc on the conscience, perhaps. Who are the real blind in this story? What is our spiritual vision, today? What do we need grace to help us see more clearly? What do we need help with getting into focus? Where are our blinders up? or where do we need to rightly place them? Where do we need a little more light shed? When can we remove the sunglasses from the shadows cast? Lord, help us to desire to see You, today. Dilate our vision. Help us to live with enthusiasm and gratefulness - - Your ways. Grant us the determination and resolve as St. Joan of Arc.

...you are chosen...so that you may announce the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light...1 Peter 2:9
